Semy

Semy is a social app designed to bring joy into the lives of its users by allowing them to send gifts, order ahead, and earn loyalty points at their favorite bars and restaurants.

Getting this off the ground required making the app a must-have for all its audiences. In its early stages came an animated video that explains the app to merchants, in order to drive signups. The “With love, Semy” launch campaign then introduced Semy to potential users through vibrant photography, playful social ads, and a new website—and soon pivoted to offer the platform free of charge to Chicago and Bay Area restaurants affected by COVID-19.
